What’s in it for me?

The guys that they are bombing in Syria, the IS, have now clarified with their action in Paris that they will not hesitate to take out their grievances on the civilians in the countries that are bombing them. Theirs is a questionable view on things, but we’d better learn to live with it. Nobody doubts the fact that they are going to do it again.

So, after bombing Syria into submission and “democratically appointing” a new leadership over there, that new leadership will enter into deals with particular business -and financial groups who stand to make good money from the newly-found “peace” in Syria. Good for them. I do not think, however, that they intend to share any of their profits with us.

In other words, we are not going to make one dollar out of all of that.

We will only run to risk of getting killed in the crossfire. That is not how I see business. I think they should stop their bombing campaign until they clarify the answer to the question: What’s in it for me?
